Bonang Matheba recently hosted the Global Citizen Festival which took place on Sunday, 02 December at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, alongside Oprah Winfrey, Naomi Campbell, Trevor Noah, Gayle King, Tyler Perry and Bob Geldof.
The festival saw the likes of Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Cassper Nyovest, D’Banj, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin, Pharrell Williams and more perform. The Global Citizen Festival also celebrated Nelson Mandela’s 100 Centenary and is a charity event, where artists come together to raise awareness and funds in efforts to limit poverty around the globe.
