The two part special, “A Very Bonang Year” follows SA’s biggest media personality, Bonang Matheba, on her global adventures, giving fans a unique insight into what was Bonang’s most powerful year yet.

In never before seen footage we see Bonang as an entrepreneur making business decisions, with all the trials and tribulations of working with teams and business colleagues abroad.

We also join her as she goes apartment hunting in New York with celebrity real estate agents and then spend time in LA with Hollywood A-lister (and “Blood Diamonds” & “King’s Man 3” star) Djimon Hounsou. In Los Angeles, Queen B wins her E! Entertainment “African Influencer of the Year” Award. In-between she travels to the UK for the international premier of her documentary “Public Figure” at the Manchester Film Festival and does a photoshoot in London with Afrobeats star D’banj.

Bonang comes home to launch her new House of BNG brand and then travels to the Big Apple where she is interviewed by DJ Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy in America’s biggest radio show, The Breakfast Club and attends a charity event with Trevor Noah. The fascinating show also gives fans unfiltered insight into Bonang’s thinking as to where she wants her extraordinary career to lead.
