Hey guys… So, on Tuesday 27th September 2011 I hosted a wonderful event at Liquid Chefs in Rosebank to celebrate my Cleo Magazine Cover.

What a be-au-ti-ful night filled with all my favourite celebrities. Everyone from Yfm twins, Top Billing’s Lorna Maseko, Supermodel Babalwa Mneno, Designer Gert Johan Coetzee, Make up artist Nthato Mashishi and Rapper AKA were in the house to celebrate this amazing achievement with me. From pink and silver ballons, custom made cupcakes, Brutal Fruits on ice, goodie bags courtesy of Avon and candy- this event was a every inch the glamour that I’m famous for… On the decks, Djs: Euphonik, Tira, Franky, Sphectacula and Shluda da Guru were all at attention to set the dancefloor alight.

I’d LOVE to send my LOVE to everyone who made this night so unforgettable for me. To My mother and my best friend Shumi, my event planner Melanie Ramjee, all members of the media who were present to cover the party, my sponsors; Soul Candi, Avon and Brutal Fruit, my friends, Cleo Editor Natalie Pool, my new management team at Capacity Relations and all the HOTT celebs…. SA’s most beautiful media goddess is a highly energetic force of nature, and is going nowhere but up. ‘Queen B’, as she’s more affectionately known, from Johannesburg and is best known as a presenter on YFM and SABC 1’s Live. Bonang began presenting at the age of 15 on a show called Manhattan’s Fantasy Challenge and went on to do other presenting jobs for SABC 2.

She has recently launched her own online reality show, B* Dazzled, which is already gaining popularity to the tune of 28 000 online viewers.

The October issue of GQ Magazine is on sale NOW!!!!!!

Since its South African launch in June 2007, Cleo magazine has featured a bevy of international beauties on its covers.

The syndicated title, which hails from Australia and has sister publications in New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, has consistently showcased sexy, strong celebrities who serve as role models for their 20-something readership and now at the tender age of four, the magazine has decided to look closer to home for inspiration.

Cleo’s editor, Natalie Pool, said: “We realise this is not the first local cover to feature Bonang but we’ve had our eye on her for a while and truly believe she is the epitome of a Cleo girl.

“At 24, Bonang is the same age as many of our readers, and like them she is hard working, ambitious and shoe obsessed!”

Matheba will be featured on the October cover – the magazine goes on shelves on Monday, September 19th 2011 so get a copy!!!
